Privacy policy

When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, your message, and the service or town your enquiry relates to, where you have given us that. If you give us a postcode so we can judge travel for a survey, we use it to reply to you but do not keep it on file once the job it was given for is done.

If you call, WhatsApp or email us directly instead of using the form, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation, the same as any tradesperson would from a phone call or a message thread.

We use your details for one thing: to get back to you about the windows or doors you have asked about, arrange a survey, and give you a quote. That is the whole purpose. We do not use your details for marketing you have not asked for, and we do not build a profile of you beyond what is needed to answer your enquiry.

Enquiries submitted through this site are stored in a Supabase database, which is the secure system this site runs on. When you submit the form, an email notification is also sent to us via Resend, an email delivery service, so we see your enquiry straight away. Both of these are processors acting on our instructions: neither uses your details for their own purposes.

We never sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone beyond what is needed to process your enquiry: that means the storage and email services named above, and nobody else. We do not pass your details to other tradespeople, other companies, or any third party for their own marketing.

We keep your enquiry details for 24 months from the date we last had contact with you. If you are an active customer, for example partway through a job or still within a guarantee period, we keep your details for as long as that work is ongoing. After 24 months of no further contact, your details are deleted.

You can ask us at any time what details we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete them. Get in touch using the contact details below and we will deal with it directly rather than sending you through a form or a portal.

This site sets no cookies at all. Not for analytics, not for advertising, and not to remember that you have seen a cookie message, because there is none to show you. That is why you were not asked to agree to anything when you arrived.

We do still count how the site is used, and we do it without Google. When a page is opened, or somebody taps the phone number, the email address or the WhatsApp button, or sends the enquiry form, we record three things: what happened, which page it happened on, and the time. That is the entire record.

We do not record your IP address, your browser, where you came from, or anything else that could be traced back to you. There is no profile and no way for us to tell one visitor from another. We can see that the phone number was tapped nine times last week. We cannot see who tapped it.

This counting only runs on the live win-doorfit.co.uk site, never on a preview or test version, so nothing you do while we are still building a page is included. We used Google Analytics until August 2026 and removed it.
