Nelson streets went up together and they fail together, so most of what we quote here is a whole house rather than one or two. That is cheaper per window and it is one visit rather than three. The stone openings have shifted over a century, which is normal and only a problem if nobody measured for it.
Windows built to a specification, not a price
Every window we fit is built on the REHAU TOTAL70 system. Seventy millimetres of profile depth, multi-chambered, and capable of a U value as low as 0.8 W/m²K when triple glazed and argon filled.
For context, Building Regulations currently ask for 1.6 W/m²K. We fit to twice that standard because the difference shows up on a bill every winter for the next twenty years, not on the day of installation.
