Replacement windows in Colne
The big late Victorian and Edwardian fronts around Colne are the ones worth doing properly, because a bad bay is visible from the other end of the road. The older mill workers' terraces are smaller and simpler and cost a good deal less. Four conservation areas cover parts of the town, so it is worth asking before you order rather than after.
Windows built to a specification, not a price
Every window we fit is built on the REHAU TOTAL70 system. Seventy millimetres of profile depth, multi-chambered, and capable of a U value as low as 0.8 W/m²K when triple glazed and argon filled.
For context, Building Regulations currently ask for 1.6 W/m²K. We fit to twice that standard because the difference shows up on a bill every winter for the next twenty years, not on the day of installation.
