Barrowford has older housing than its neighbours and a lot of it is listed or in one of the three conservation areas. Seventeenth and eighteenth century cottages with stone mullions are not a standard replacement job and should not be quoted like one. We will tell you honestly whether what you want is possible before anybody measures anything.
Windows built to a specification, not a price
Every window we fit is built on the REHAU TOTAL70 system. Seventy millimetres of profile depth, multi-chambered, and capable of a U value as low as 0.8 W/m²K when triple glazed and argon filled.
For context, Building Regulations currently ask for 1.6 W/m²K. We fit to twice that standard because the difference shows up on a bill every winter for the next twenty years, not on the day of installation.
